A Sunday Adventure

 

I was feeling a little restless today and took the opportunity to travel to the Windsor Ruins and shoot some pictures with my son. When we set out on this afternoon ride, I had no idea how far out into the middle of no where the ruins are. I was really close to turning around and heading back home! Nevertheless we found them and fought with the ladybugs to capture some photographs. I’m glad we took the time. As you look at the photos, try to picture how the home looked in all of its opulent splendor. If the ornate scrollwork found on the top of the pillars is anything to go by then the home would have indeed been magnificent. I hope y’all enjoy!
