I could simply go on and on about what I’m thankful for…
1. I am alive and though I have health issues, I’m able to work and lead a generally normal life.
2. I’m thankful that my child understands that money doesn’t grow on trees.
3. I have the two most precious, loving boys in my life. They take care of me when I am at my lowest. I am spoiled.
4. My husband never ceases to amaze me and I fall in love with him more and more everyday.
5. The learning opportunities that come to me while I travel down the road that is my life…Granted, I learn some of this stuff AFTER the opportunity has passed. But learned it is. :)
6. My friends and family. I am not always able to express myself and sometimes only need someone to look at me and say, “I know what you mean.” That means the world to me. Thank you. I so enjoy being allowed to share your lives.
7. I am so very thankful to have a job during this time when some don’t. It allows me to provide for my family.
8. I’m thankful that my child is not materialistic.
See? I said I could just go on and on…What are you thankful for?
Today at work an elderly lady asked if I cooked for Thanksgiving and I proudly told her that my husband was cooking for me since I had to work. She looked shocked and said, “ Honey, I had two husbands and neither of them cooked. You take care of that man.”
I will and I do, forever and always.
Very nice Leah. What you say makes us all pause and take a second look at life. Mom and I just read this together (6:45 Saturday morning!) and we are blessed! We love you! - Dad
