On a positive note.

Well, I had my second laprascopic surgery yesterday. My doctor only found two spots outside my uterus and another spot on a pelvic ligament. She did not find any adhesions so that means we don't know for sure what was causing my lower back pain. It took forever to make it back to the operating room and adding the stress of worrying about my boys made for one emotional lady. My surgery began around 3pm and I was awake shortly before 5pm. I have a small incision at my belly button and another small incision lower down on my abdomen. My belly is very sore from the gas that was used to inflate me and the two cuts. Other than that I'm doing quit well. Nothing else hurts thankfully. I haven't had the shoulder pain that will sometimes accompany the gas as it seeks a way to leave the body.

I was told that my gallbladder was enlarged too. I will be trying diet changes to help with that. Anything to avoid another surgery!

I am all for positive thinking and will be trying a new diet which should help with weight loss as well. I think that if my lower back pain was not caused by the endometriosis that the doctor removed then the weight loss can't hurt. If it persists then I'll seek out other medical avenues.

I am ready to start some cross stitching but I think I'll wait until tomorrow. Stay tuned for updates...
